An important Treyvon Zimmerman decision

Zimmerman's trial may or may not have penalties for Zimmerman. An important decision might come from the occasion.

.

As of now, a person of prejudice can buy a gun, join a neighborhood watch, see a person he doesn't like, leave the car, confront the person and shoot him dead. It seems that's what Florida lawmakers will permit, maybe encourage.

.

The important point to consider is whether Florida legislators will require penalties if they find that a neighborhood watch, or any other person, will leave their car to shoot someone. If not, it's open season on the public.

If one is approached in an aggressive manner, one can claim self defense and take the aggressor out. This applies even if one was stalking the soon-to-be aggressor prior to the aggressive approach. Apparently, the Stand Your Ground law requires one to do just that.

“If one is approached in an aggressive manner, "
Zimmerman saw Trayvon from a distance, reported him, was told to stay in his car, left to approach Trayvon following him a long distance.
That is not being the one approached in an aggressive manner.
I don’t know why you avoid that fact, except to desire to use that as an excuse to shoot someone in the future.

I was using sarcasm to show that by stalking Treyvon Martin, Zimmerman provoked Martin into becoming the “aggressor,” thereby allowing Zimmerman to claim Martin attacked him. I doubt he’s smart enough to think that far ahead. I believe Zimmerman was hoping he would look like the “hero” when the cops got there and arrested Martin. He just didn’t count on Martin reacting the way he did.

I also would think there is a reason they did not want the neighborhood watch to carry a weapon.

for exactly this reason, you’d think. So if they acquit, that will be even more bullshit.
